Joseph and I are on our travels again. We are meeting our next Innkeeper at the hairdresser’s.
What a warm friendly place it turned out to be; everyone was so pleased to see us. My hair was washed and dried by something which blew hot air.
We then walked with the Innkeeper and her friend along Caerleon Road. There were lots of clothes in the Tenovus shop but nothing to fit me! Next, we visited Nellie, busy in the florist, and, Martin the chemist. When we arrived at Gayner’s it was so lovely to find that a special place had been prepared for us.
A lovely quiet afternoon – I did enjoy watching the Innkeeper ironing – I didn’t offer to help but I did help prepare vegetables for soup.
The evening has been busy – Paulette, Layla and Chris arrived and I helped them pack presents for the children who will go to the Crib Service – what a lovely way to remind them that the greatest gift is God’s gift of His Son to the world.
Jesus is really kicking tonight – a reminder that the Gift will arrive soon; Joseph and I are part of this wonderful story.
We said our night prayers with Gayner – I am sure we shall all sleep well.
