A lovely sunny but cold morning, no ice or frost, so I helped Joseph feed the animals. After breakfast (I ate crumpets) we made chocolate trees and stuck some jelly sweets on them; we did get very messy and sticky.
Later this morning we were introduced to three of the grandchildren of the Heaths and they asked me about our journey. They sat quietly while I told them of our journey.
Later in the afternoon the Heath family went out to help with the Advent tea at St Julian’s Parish Church. We stayed in to rest and shared a warm fire with Sister Frances.
The Heath family, Joseph and myself sat around the fire tonight and talked about leaving early in the morning to carry on with our journey. I feel rested and stronger now and we have enjoyed our stay here.
