Day-of-Prayer-Logo-e1456759484877

God constantly blesses us here at SS Julius and Aaron and He asks us to continue to walk with Faith and Wisdom in the ways along which He is leading us. One of the results of the (ongoing) Bishop’s Audit is an increased awareness of how essential this spirit of prayerful discipleship is for every one of us if we are to continue to serve the Lord in His Mission for the Church in this Parish and Community.

The Day of Prayer will go like this:

9am The Angelus and The Rosary will be prayed in Church

9:30am Mass will be celebrated

after Mass, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will begin

11am Prayer Walk around the neighbouring streets, seeking God’s blessing on all whom we see and on any who speak to us, with Intercessions on our return to Church; those not walking remain in Adoration at Church.

12.30pm Light Lenten Lunch

1:30pm The Jesus Prayer will be prayed contemplatively

2:15pm Stations of the Cross and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament,

The Day of Prayer will end at 3pm.

THIS WILL BE A DROP-IN DAY – come for as long or as short a time as you can manage – but PLEASE DO YOUR BEST TO COME ALONG AT SOME STAGE.
