We begin Holy Week with a Street Procession at 10am in the area around Church, singing ‘Hosanna’ to Jesus our King, just like on the first Palm Sunday in Jerusalem.
We continue back in Church where the mood of Triumph and Joy turns to one of dismay, betrayal and horror as we enter into the narrative of the Lord’s Passion as presented by the Evangelist S Luke.
We then bring all this together through the Eucharistic Mystery and ‘feed on [Christ] by faith with thanksgiving’ …
Come, join us, worship with us, enter the contemplation of these mighty acts of Christ which bring us true hope, newness of life and the joy of salvation – beyond what we can imagine through our own efforts.
